Los canales de comunicación digital como el email y el teléfono móvil han experimentado un gran crecimiento; y los foros web y de los medios sociales como Facebook y Twitter se han convertido en un punto central para buscar datos, comprar, conversación y amistad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La oportunidad que presenta este nuevo mundo digital para los responsables de marketing es enorme. Todas ellas cuentan con web propia o de la empresa matriz en la que aparece la marca. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La red social más utilizada por las empresas del sector es Facebook, seguido de youtube. Lo menos utilizado, los blogs, cuenta con sólo un 7% de la muestra. Este sector se decanta por las redes sociales masivas. Hemos podido observar en los anteriores estudios el mayor o menor acierto en los usos que le dan distintas editoriales. Algunas verdaderamente creen en los nuevos canales y apuestan por ellos, otras solo pasaban por allí atraídas por las modas de las redes sociales. Muchas no están, no sabemos si por desconocimiento o porque tienen elaborada una estrategia que no ven clara la participación.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;YouTube plantea algunas diferencias notables con Facebook y Twitter como canal de propagación de contenidos. Si bien es cierto que es necesario el contenido audiovisual, no es menos cierto que con una cámara al alcance de cualquiera ya puedes elaborar contenidos para tu canal. Los usuarios de YouTube no piden calidad extrema, no son necesarias costosas producciones ni postproducciones.
