The propensity for individuals to use social media to seek information about their health has been rapidly increasing in the last five years and provides an opportunity for healthcare institutions to leverage a new channel for providing fair, balanced and accurate information to the public. We report the results of a four-week social media listening (SML) project on
the topic of malaria.
